1. Use of Service

You may use FreshUnit to learn and practice graphic design and related creative skills. You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to bypass access controls, upload malware, scrape content at scale, probe vulnerabilities, or infringe on others’ rights, including privacy and intellectual property. Automated access must respect published rate limits.

We may throttle, suspend, or terminate access that violates these terms or legal obligations. You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction when using our services.

Plainly: Learn, don’t break things, don’t take what isn’t yours, and follow the law.

2. Accounts

Keep your account secure and your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activities under your credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately so we can help secure your account.

One individual per account. You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep it current. We may request verification to prevent fraud or abuse.

Plainly: Use a strong password, don’t share it, and tell us if something looks off.

3. Payments & Refunds

Prices are listed in the catalog at checkout. Taxes or transaction fees may apply based on your location and payment method. Subscriptions bill on a recurring basis until canceled in your account settings.

Refunds may be available for unstarted courses within a fair time window. For subscriptions, partial refunds are generally not provided after the billing period begins unless required by law. If we materially change or discontinue access to paid content you have not started, you may be eligible for a pro‑rated refund.

Plainly: If you haven’t started, you may get a refund — details appear during checkout.

4. Content & IP

Course materials, assets, and platform content are owned by FreshUnit or our licensors and are licensed to you for personal learning. Except as explicitly permitted, you may not redistribute, repackage, resell, sublicense, or make derivative commercial works from the materials.

You retain rights to content you upload, but you grant FreshUnit a limited license to store, process, and display such content to operate the service. Do not upload content without the necessary rights or licenses.

Plainly: Use it to learn, don’t repost or sell our stuff. Only upload things you’re allowed to.

5. Liability

FreshUnit is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those required by law. To the fullest extent permitted, FreshUnit and its suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, lost profits, data loss, business interruption, or cost of substitute services.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Certain jurisdictions provide additional consumer rights which remain unaffected.

Plainly: We’ll do our best, but we can’t promise perfection and can’t cover every loss.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially or repeatedly breach these terms, cause harm, or if required by law. You may cancel at any time in your account controls. Certain sections (including payment obligations, IP, and liability) survive termination.

Plainly: If rules are broken, access can be cut. You can cancel whenever you like.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Plainly: We’ll notify you if the rules change; using the site after that means you agree.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law in your place of residence unless mandatory local consumer protection rules provide otherwise. Disputes will be resolved in competent courts with jurisdiction over FreshUnit, subject to any mandatory arbitration or local consumer options provided by law.

Plainly: Local consumer laws still apply. Disputes go to a proper court unless your local law says otherwise.
